We are All Mediums —

At the 2003 DLF gathering at Horseshoe Lake Park in Orange Springs, Florida, a mediumship development workshop was held. Werner Voets was in attendance and channeled the following message from John the Apostle.

I am John and want you all to know that I love you with all my heart.

A lot of you, my brothers and sisters, are trying so hard to be perfect, but as we have said before, it is not necessary to be perfect at all.

Mediums are not better or worse than others, because, as has been said before, we are all mediums. And the only thing a medium does is love the other person that doesn't love him or herself. It's all about love – there's nothing more to it. Being a medium is actually being a link between you and others. That's what being a medium is about. It doesn't have to do with going out of your [body] or being in your [body], it has to do with giving love. The only thing Father wants you to do is give that love.

Sometimes you think love does not need to be given; or (when you are) needing, sometimes it is very difficult for you to give love. If you would just try giving love in the moment that you need love, you will get the concept that giving is good, and receiving is good. Because it is when we are in deepest of deepest that we can climb out to the highest mountain of all.

Do not run away from pain, but embrace it with love. And that's what mediumship is all about. Mediumship is about loving others so that God can come through you, towards others. So what a medium does is actually just what the person has to do himself. He or she is a connection between God and the person that He wants to help.

So whenever we love or help others, we are being mediums. It doesn’t take more than that. So, next time you are helping someone, remember that you are being a medium right there, because you are doing what God wants you to do. We are embracing each other with love. We are actually doing what God wants us to do.

So you see it's all that simple. Don’t go through the mind when it is not needed, but use the mind to translate your soul longings.

It's that simple, but as humans, it is normal to once in awhile go off the path – because you need to take a look at the path once in a while, so that you are sure that you’re still on it.

If you want to climb mountains, you need to pass through valleys, before you can climb the next mountain.

Remember, we are always with you. Always. There is not a single soul here that has ever been left alone. Even if it is sometimes hard to feel love, every time – every time – you want it there will be someone there to help you. And if you would be a medium towards yourself, you'll know that there will be someone there with you who loves you, who's comforting you, who's trying to help you.

We all need help. We all need help, from the highest to the lowest.

Try to continue what you have been doing, each one of you in your own way. Try, and don't give up. Try, and don’t give up. And try again, and don't give up.

Where did you think people that created games got the idea for creating games? Because our life is like a game. First you go to the first level, and you try, and you learn where the rewards are, where the pitfalls are, and you remember them. You try and try again until you know everything that needs to be known to pass on to the second level. And it keeps on going like that over and over again. Feel, and then try feeling again. On and on and on…
